The Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact



We as unimexers are committed to sharing our knowledge and experience with the maritime community, especially with maritime students and newcomers to the maritime industry.


We adopt green policies to protect the environment.

We support the mentoring and future career development of maritime students.


We support the poor in getting an education


We gather our strength to become pioneers and volunteers in building the global marine community ecosystem.


We take HIC as our core value.

human rights

  • Principle 1: Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights; and

  • Principle 2: Ensure they are not complicit in human rights violations.


labor force

  • Principle 3: Businesses should uphold freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining;

  • Principle 4: Elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labor;

  • Principle 5: Effective abolition of child labour; and

  • Principle 6: Elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.

  • Principle 7: Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges;

  • Principle 8: Take steps to promote greater environmental responsibility; and

  • Principle 9: Encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally sound technologies.


Anti-corruption

Principle 10: Businesses should work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery.
